Korean Variety Survival Program Mix & Match: Full Member Of iKON Has Been Revealed

All member of iKON has been revealed. The result isn't shocking though. Everything goes as I was predicted it to be. It would be so cruel if the Team B wouldn't be debuted together and of course YG wasn't too much to make this comes true. When the fourth member revealed, of course it would be Junhwe. He has a strong vocal as strong as Jinhwan (but with different kind of voice, both of them have different voice colour). What a perfect combination! Team B + Chanwoo is the best combination. I'm gonna be iKON fans because of them.

On November 1st, YG Entertainment posted on their official blog, the announcement schedule of the final iKON members. The confirmed members are now B.I, Bobby, Kim Jin Hwan, Goo Jun Hoe, Song Yun Hyeong, Jung Chan Woo and Kim Dong Hyuk as shown in the picture posted by Mix and Match’s official Facebook page.

The boy band is set to debut in January with high expectations, following the reality program Mix and Match. The program Mix and Match showcased the iKON member’s talents and hard work showing the world that they are more than ready for debut.

Let's love iKON from now on and anticipating for their debut. :)

Kpop News: Super Junior's Shindong's enlistment date confirmed for November 25

Super Junior's Shindong will enlist into military service on November 25.

Fans have been keeping an eye out for his enlistment news since earlier this year, wondering just when it may be. The answer has now come as SM Entertainment announced on the 5th, "Shindong will enter the 306th battalion in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggido on November 25 and receive training for 5 weeks before beginning his 21-month military service as an active-duty soldier... Shindong plans to prepare for his enlistment for the time being, and will be absent for the upcoming dates of Super Junior's 'Super Show 6'."

Shindong will be greatly missed!

Korean Variety Survival Program Mix & Match: Jung Chanwoo Keep Moving Forward To Be Member Of iKON

The battle goes fiercer as the time goes by. Now, the time to decide who will be the fixed member of iKON is near the conclusion. Since the first episode of Mix & Match, my eyes caught B.I's charm and talent. I didn't watch him when he was battling with team A back then in "WIN:Who is next?" because I don't really have time for another new boy group since I already trapped in EXO's circle. I don't know why I started watching this survival program in the first time. I think I wanna try to watch this survival program because I wanna watch something new. But then Chanwoo came. Since then, I really hope that the original member of Team B plus Chanwoo will be really debuted as iKON.

Seems like my wish to see Chanwoo debuted as member of iKON will be happened. Since the first monthly evaluation, Chanwoo never gets attacked by all the judges. They praises him a lot saying that Chanwoo fits really well with the group. There's a prejudice that Chanwoo only wins because he was in the same group as B.I. Well, B.I sure helps a lot, he is the best leader and producer. But, Chanwoo himself was also doing well, working hard, and practicing a lot. I just watch the latest episode of Mix & Match yesterday. I maybe said this a lot that Kpop is a harsh world. Well, I expect Chanwoo to be debuted as iKON, but seeing the original Team B member to be eliminated is so cruel. How come Yunhyeong be eliminated? To be honest, I prefer Hongseok to be eliminated instead of Yunhyeong. Contrarily to Chanwoo's condition, Hongseok never gets praised by the judged. They said that he can't blend well with the group and his style wasn't YG's style. 

Actually, it's rather true. Since the first time he arrived at the practice room to meet the rest of the member, I don't think that this kid fits well with another iKON member. In my opinion, he is more in to ballad style. I think he can debut as a solo singer like Roy Kim.But, we never knows that maybe Hongseok really tried his best and adapted himself to be more YG style and debuted with iKON together. But until today, I still wish for Chanwoo to debut as iKON with the original member of Team B.

Korean Variety Show "Hello Counsellor": Yoseob talks about saving fellow B2ST member Hyunseung

B2ST made a guest appearance on the October 20 installment of KBS 2TV's 'Hello'  where Yoseob relayed a sweet message to fellow member Hyunseung during the 'video message' portion.

It was brought up that a previous time the boys were on the show (back on August 27, 2012), Yoseob had created a heartfelt moment by tearfully showing his gratitude towards Kikwang for all the help during his difficult training period. As we know that Kpop world is sure hard.

This time, Yoseob wanted to relay a message to another member.  He said, "Hyunseung, it has already been five years since we debuted.  I'm not sure you remember.  Just like how Kikwang saved me, I saved you," making everybody burst into laughter.  It looks like he wants some thanks this time around!  

He continued, "When you were overly anxious auditioning here and there, I was the one who contacted you and found places for you to audition.  I wish for the next five, fifty years, we will be together as B2ST."

Kpop Fashion: After School's Beauty Bible Variety Show

Another news from kpop world. I recently discovered this new Korean Beauty show called After School's Beauty Bible. I found this korean variety show when I was about watching Running Man on a particular website. The show is originally broadcast on KBSW, and they started to sub the episodes on the KBS World TV youtube channel. It's not like the Korean show Get it Beauty, it's a reality format show where the girls from K-pop girl group After School talk about beauty products, tips and trends, but also workout tips! 

I think this korean show is interesting. I started to search about this variety show and I found a news in Allkpop. They said that 'After School's Beauty Bible' will air in 100 different countries. Wow, that's great, right! Apparently, the show started airing on January 21st. It's a reality format program where the After School members talk about various beauty trends and beauty information. Kpop world is never boring.

KBS said, "There are many fans all over the world, especially in Japan, China, and South East Asia who have been asking for this program through YouTube, so it will air on KBS World. It will air twice every week with subtitles such as English and Japanese, and air to 200,000,000 viewers in 100 countries. We're looking forward to the show spreading the excellence of K-Beauty." -via Allkpop-

I like kpop so much and actually I like a lot of stuffs about Korean music. I used to be fans of After School too, especially when they sang "Bang" and "Diva".

Korean Variety Show Program: New Season of SBS Roommate is aired

New season of SBS Roommate is already aired! The casts for the second season of this show is different than the first season. Most casts were replaced with new people. One of the new casts is GOT7's Jackson Wang. He had the rapper and martial artist role in the group. This kid is so hilarious. Sometimes he is so loud though. But still, I love him and GOT7 (my bias is JB). Beside GOT7's Jackson, there's also KARA's new member. To be honest, I don't know that KARA has new formation after Nicole left. I'm a very-multi-fandom-fangirl anyway, so I can't focus to one group only. But recently, I'm interested in GOT7 and EXO. In Roommate season 1, EXO's Chanyeol already joined. Then GOT7's Jackson also joined. What a perfect coincidence! Both of them are from my favorite group.

In my opinion, Korea entertainment industry is really doing well. The Korean music or usually known as K-Pop has a great influence around the world. Kpop music boomed greatly like a massive explossion. It feels like the Korean entertainment industry people are so creative. I am a big fan of Running Man. I watch it every week since the very beginning till now. It has been four years I think. It never gets bored to watch Running Man every week because there always be new concept and also some famous guests. A few months ago, Running Man casts came to Indonesia to play soccer and also filming for the program. They said that Indonesia is the last country to visit. Running Man won't go abroad after that. But, I don't think so because in previous episode, they were going to Taiwan. And recently I found a digital commercial that they will come again to Indonesia in upcoming month. Well, it's great!

I hope GOT7 member will be invited to Running Man too. Even though one of them already joined in Roommate, but they need to be invited in Running Man to be more famous. This is my opinion of course. Well, this is because both of non K-pop fans and K-pop fans like Running Man. Through this program, non K-pop fans might start to like the guests. It's gonna be "kill two birds with one stone", free promotion. It could be true, right? Okay, for now, that's all I can share. I hope I will be able to share a lot of k-pop article next time. Mix and Match: New survival program from YG Entertainment

If I hear about YG Entertainment, the first thing to pop up in my mind is R&B and hiphop. I think that was because of BigBang's music genre and CEO YG himself who was former hiphop singer. This company has different style in case of their music genre. Meanwhile, other big kpop music company like SM Ent. and JYP Ent. also have different music style. When YG was asked about "Why do you like the survival match a lot?" (as we already know, Bigbang and Winner was born from survival match too), then he answered, "...I think life is about competition". Well, I'm agree about that. Life is indeed about competition. K-pop is being a lifestyle nowadays. Korean music, especially kpop music is now being a king of music around the world. 

 

We can hear kpop music was being played in a lot of places everyday. Many korean entertainment company debuted girlband, boyband, solo singer in a very thight time range and it makes a very thight competition among kpop singer. And because of this, YG statement is really right. Among this heavy competition, the most standout one must be the best one. That's why he made Mix & Match. Mix & Match is new survival program to decide the future of Team B (the team who failed to debut in previous survival program "WIN: Who is Next". Mix & Match is different from previous survival program. Team B won't compete with another team, but they will compete with each other. YG added 3 new trainee member so that the competition will conclude 9 people and he will only debut 7 member of 9. There's a chance that some of 6 member of Team B will be dissed and failed to debut. Whoah, it's cruel, isn't it? But that is kpop music industry, a very cruel world.

Okay, I think that's all that I can share about this. I will write again about k-pop world next time. It's gonna be about GOT7 maybe, or about EXO, my favorite boyband group. Recently they are appear a lot in korean television program. One of GOT7 member is now joining weekly program SBS Roommate Season 2. Now, beside Running Man and Appa Eodiga?(Dad Where Are You Going?), I have another favorite show. I already watched the first episode and it's so interesting. The casts are so funny.
